that you have a reliable and easy-to-use office solution by your side. So today
we’re gonna take a look into two of the big market leaders, Google’s G Suites and
Microsoft Office 365. We’ll look at some of the key areas and what differentiates
between the two and see what benefits and features they have. So let’s jump
straight in and have a look at some of the features. G suite comes with loads of
apps giving you the ability to complete those important day-to-day tasks.
Included with G suite you get things like your Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, sheets,
calendar, Google keep and hangouts Gsuite is a online based Suite but has
the ability to work in offline mode. So if you’re unable to connect to the
Internet you can still continue to do your work .Gsuite comes with mobile apps
to really help you keep your production on the move and there is always 24/7
support either via the phone email or online support as well. So what features
do you get as part of office 365 included you get a massive list from
Outlook, onedrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Yammer, Skype for
business, teams and a bunch more. As office 365 is cloud-based, it’s always
easy for collaboration between team members and all of the information will
be kept up to date with the cloud keeping you in synced all of the time.
With 365 you have the ability to either use their versions of the applications
or you can download all of the apps like Word, Excel and so on. And when you work
with in any document it will automatically sync with the cloud
keeping your information up-to-date and secure. 365 allows installation to up to 5
devices per user which is great because as we know we want to be able to access
all of our documents from smartphones tablets and laptops. But let’s look into
this security of these two Suites. Both
platforms do offer some sort of security protection to data and documents. On G
suite they offer a 2-step verification and single sign-on. You can also use
mobile management’s keep your data safe in the event of a lost device or
employee turnover. Archived email messages and on the record chats and
control how long they’re retained for there is a easy configurable security
setting from a centralized admin console. over on office 365 it has a lot of
built-in security features to keep your company’s data safe. What comes included
are items like message encryption, stoping anyone other than the intended
recipient from reading the content of your email. There’s an advanced threat
analytics there’s a machine learning system that helps you to detect and
alert of any suspicious activity and it lets you know straight away. You have
mobile device management this helps you to secure and manage office employees
mobile devices to protect your private company information. You can create and
manage device security policies remotely wipe a device and view detailed device
reports. And finally comes with data loss prevention, this monitors emails and
prevents sensitive information from leaving your business or organization
but how easy is it to use Gsuite or 365. Both G suite and 365 are very very
user friendly meaning that most people can use it in their working environment.
As G Suite is accessed through a web browser or through the app on your
device this means that you can access you documents from any device whether
that be a laptop – mobile – tablet if you work in an industry that needs to
collaborate with various people in different offices with G suite that’s
not a problem as GSuite is cloud-based it means you can edit and
collaborate on a document in a real time meaning that you get your tasks done in
a timely manner. If you or your team are really familiar with the Microsoft
family of apps then 365 might be better for you and your business. Most of us
have used apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint in our careers at some point.
This interface is easy to use and it can be used by most
people. 365 is great for communication and collaboration within a business no
matter what the size. You can edit and share your documents from anywhere. you
can either use office 365 on the web browser or you can use the software on
your devices as we mentioned earlier because you can install them up to 5
devices per user making your work really accessible. But the question is how much
does it all cost? Gsuite has 3 simple pricing bands and all offer different
elements depending on your business requirements. Starting with a basic
package from £4.60 per user per month with a professional office suite
with 30 gigabytes of storage. Then moving into the business tier for £9.20
per user per month this offers an enhanced office suite with unlimited
storage and archiving. And finally the enterprise package for £20 per
user per month this offers a premium office suite with advanced controls and
capabilities. Office 365 has some really good pricing packages starting from £3.80 per user per month on office 365 business essential package.
This is best for businesses that need a business email and other business
services on PC Mac or mobile desktop versions though of the applications are
not included only the web and the mobile versions. The second package is the
office 365 business package at £7.90 per user per month. This is best for
businesses that need office applications plus cloud file storage and sharing on
PC, Mac or mobile. But no business emails are included on this package. And the
last one is office 365 business premium package for £9.40 per user per
month again a package for businesses that need a business email office
applications and other business services on PC Mac and mobile. But overall what do
I think. Both Gsuite and office 365 are great for businesses on the go. If you
and your team are looking for familiarity, programs like you know and
love like Word, Excel and PowerPoint then this might be the one for you in your
business the beauty of office 365
is that the of the ability to still use the full applications and allow them to
save automatically via your cloud storage so your documents will always be
in sync 365 comes packed with loads of features
and great tools for communication and office comes with all the supported apps
to make sure that you can keep your work on the go. Gsuite does have all the
elements required to keep your business moving from emails, documents,
spreadsheets and presentations I do love the live element of G suite meaning that
team members can all edit the same document at the same time in real time
giving you a real experience of team collaboration. However if I’m working
from a computer that I personally prefer to have a full application not just a
web-based application but however that’s just my personal preference. Do you use
office 365 or G suite in your business? what do you think the pros and cons are
as always let us know by getting them comment in the box below cos we always
love to read them but if you want to see more all you need to do is simply head
