Absurdly Small Chessboard Draw out the dimensions for the chessboard Cut out long strips that are 2 millimeters wide Cut out 2 squares: 1.) 16×16 millimeters 2.) 18×18 millimeters Take the 2 mm wide strips from earlier and cut into 2×2 mm squares I used Cherry and Mahogany stain to color the wood Place the 2×2 mm squares on the 16×16 mm in a checkerboard pattern starting from the middle Sand down the edges before adding a border This part of the song is just horrendous. I apologize for past KMR and to you, the viewer, as well It goes on for so long. SORRY. D: This was my second miniature ever. Secret: It took me 16 hours and three days to make it. I didn’t know how to “work smarter, not harder” back then. I was also in the transition of finding the camera angle that worked best for me. This one is an obvious dud. Now, the chessboard chest Cut out 4 pieces: 2 – 16x1x4 mm; 2 – 18x1x4 mm; Glue onto remaining big square Sand down as needed The lid closes flush with the box! Still making great jokes, I see. So painful. Seriously, thank you so much for watching. It means a lot to me. Watch literally any of my other videos and you’ll possibly not be sorry.
