In memoriam Professor Stephen Hawking 1942 – 2018.

Can you hear me? It has the been a glorious
time to be alive doing research in theoretical physics. Our picture of the
universe has changed a great deal in the last 50 years and I’m happy if I have
made a small contribution. The fact that we humans who are ourselves mere
collections of fundamental particles of nature have been able to come as close
to an understanding of the laws governing us and our universe is a great
triumph. I want to share my excitement and enthusiasm about this quest. So remember to look up at the stars and
not down at your feet try to make sense of what you see and
wonder about what makes the universe exist be curious and however difficult
life may seem there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters
that you don’t just give up. Thank you for listening.

  1. He was such an inspiration. George's key to the universe was what ignited my curiosity for everything physics and science related in the first place. Years later A Brief History of Time became one of my favourite books. Thank you for everything.

  2. A true inspiration for success, even through hell, he still accomplished his goals. Thanks for everything hawking <3

  3. We still need him . RIP ๐Ÿ˜” we will miss u .thank u for everything and for every knowledge u worked on for the benefit of our lives and worlds. RIP in ur own universe . โค

  4. Thanks for ALL, dear Stephen…๐Ÿ’…RIP… Hope you could be in Heaven ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’โœจ๐ŸŒ โœจ…

  5. WHY WHY….. ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ he was a great man ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ R.I.P he will go to heaven ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿป.

  6. What I respect most about Stephen Hawking was the fact that life dealt him a bad card, and he persevered, moved forward, and contributed so much to humanity. I often contemplate "what's the point of trying so hard in life when we're all going to die in a hundred years time"… Then I see men like Stephen Hawking, who give 100% of himself to his craft, in spite of the terrible life changing disease he was impacted with.

Truly, it wasn't just Hawking's enormous IQ that made him unique, it was his attitude, his entity that transcended his disease, and made him one of a kind.

Rest In Peace, you will be sorely missed Mr. Hawking.

  7. Potete sentirmi?
prova a dare senso a cosa vedi e stupisciti su cosa faccia esistere l'universo.
Sii curioso e nonostante la vita possa sembrare difficile c'รจ sempre qualcosa
che puoi fare e raggiungere.E' importante non arrendersi e basta.
    Grazie per avermi ascoltato.

  8. You will always be my hero, and heroes live forever. You are free to travel across your Universe now… Thanks for inspiring me every single day more and more! โœจ๐ŸŒŒ

  9. Attention, please. He was a radical physic๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Youtube is better than TV. Infact there is always absolute rubbish in TV.

  10. I am happy if I have made a small contribution.. small contribution….words spoken by an amazing person not only being so incredibly intelligent and being on the forfront if knowledge in theoretical physics and all in the face of the troubles and sickness he had to deal with while living almost his entire life but also to be so humble and genuine. A truly great man. RIP Professor Hawkings you will never be forgotten

  11. My dream is to go on Cambridge .I am only eleven years old .I don t even care because i am from a small country.I cried once i heard he was my role model.May he rests in peace.

  12. Stephen Hawking was the reason I got into science back in 9th grade. Now I am a freshman in college working on my astrophysics degree. All because of this guy. Hopefully I get a PhD and start where he left off. I hope to finish his theory of everything someday.

  13. R.I.P Stephen! You will be forever in our hearts! The information about his death shocked me! I still can not believe…

  14. I will always be with you stephen hawking. What is the title of the background piano, it is beautiful.

  15. you did a good job, Stephen….

R.I.P Stephen Hawking you will be missed ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

  16. what a great men. He is better than anyone in my life. He gave me courage to break the walls of god to open the science laws

  17. Iโ€™ll admit I cried that night. This guy is a big reason why Iโ€™m a physics degree student right now. I remember I found out he died at 12:08 am on March 14.

  18. I always wanted to meet him. This man changed my world, he made me want to learn, he taught me that no matter that situation youโ€™re in thereโ€™s always some way to change and improve yourself and the world.

  19. I am still in a state of shock. He has made a HUGE contribution. He said small. Do not be little yourself, you have done a lot for humanity. Thank you so much. I disagree with you on one thing. I dont buy the fact that aliens would travel this far to attack us but still thank you for your books. I have read them both. Brief history of time was the best book for me. Only book ive actually read in full. THATS AN ACHIEVEMENT FOR ME LOL.

Thank you again, im still upset but you gave me a lot of hope

  20. Can you hear me?

  21. โคโคโคโคโคI absolutely love the like/dislike rating of this video. I know it doesnt mean much… but I dont think I've ever felt closer to 20 thousand people than I feel today.โคโคโคโคโค

  22. Whoโ€™s watching in 2019?

Canโ€™t still believe, that you leaved us.
Thank you, Stephen for your knowledge, for your humanity, for your love! The world's gonna miss you!

  23. A true inspiration for all of human kind.
If we could all just be a little bit like Mr. Hawking, the world would be a much better place.

  24. You think this guy is badass look at Euler. He was one of the greatest mathematicians, considered the most prolific while being blind from one eye and later on from both eyes (which actually accelerated his work because he would dictate his proofs and articles to scribes). He averaged one paper a week.

  25. We did it professor, we attained the first ever image of a black hole. Youโ€™re legacy will be forever with mankind ๐ŸŒŒโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

  26. Thank you Stephen Hawking for everything but now the world has lost it's most shining gem , a gem which struggled it ways to the top
    True hero, true legend

  27. I still have to cry every time I see this. To me he is without a doubt the most admirable human to ever exist.
