So, let’s play a sample hand of this game
we call bar dice. We’re going to use betting with my little red chips. The ante will be
one. So, the cost to play a hand will be one red chip. So, the pot on a typical hand will
be two. We’re going to use the rule that to win the pot you have to have a minimum of
two pair. Let’s say that it’s your turn to go first so you roll. What do you have? You
have three ones. That, as usual, is a hand that is not quite good enough to stop with
in this game. So, you take your second roll and you get two twos. Look at that you get
a full house, three ones, two twos. That’s what I have to beat. So, now it’s my turn.
I roll. I get three ones and hopefully I can beat you and take it down. Alas, no the pot
is yours. We’ll play another sample hand in the next segment.
