Chess, Scouts, & Innovation

It’s kind of tough, it’s not easy to be a
leader. The point is selfless service, so it’s like
– it’s to do something for others, not to think everything is a reward for you. That’s an example of the kind of students
we have in DoDEA. He is modeling 21st century teaching and learning
skills that we look out for our kids, when we think of innovation, creativity, problem
solving… So, it’s also not just because of my passion,
it’s also because it’s also good for them – the kids. It builds up critical thinking and problem
solving skills, which is good for our school. That’s basically what it is.
