Preparing for fianchetto bishop The bishop fianchetto Opening a diagonal for my bishop Preparing for pawn to g5 once he push his pawn to h5 Taking his h pawn will only activate his rook Developing my knight Vacating e7 square for my knight Developing my knight Preventing his knight going to b5 square Taking his f pawn than letting him take mine with no enough support Preparing for my bishop to go to b7 square A fianchetto bishop Attacking with my pawn to control the d4 square Locking the center to prevent opening the file towards my uncastled king Preparing for queenside castling Blocking his rook targetting my f7 pawn which prevents me from castling Harassing his knight to left in defending his king Pushing my pawn to harass his bishop Taking now his unprotected e4 pawn Protecting my f4 pawn Pinning his knight towards his queen Castling for safety while his rook is still in prise This d5 pawn will cover his bishop via d4 and my rook will take his b6 knight His knight cannot take my d5 pawn because of my knight will take his knight and his queen is targetted by my Rook at b8 Blocking now his bishop which supports his b7 knight Double-checking his king and bishop. My knight cannot be captured as it will open his king with my queen This knight sacrifice will create a position that cannot be handled by him
