The Belgian’s future is once again the main topic of discussion both in London and Madrid after it emerged Hazard has decided his next career move. The Chelsea star told French station RMC, as part of a documentary about his career that will be aired tomorrow night, “I know what I will do. I have made my decision.” Hazard made the comments two months ago, knowing full well his words wouldn’t be made public for a considerable amount of time. But now it has been revealed the Chelsea star knows his next destination, Spanish media outlets have gone into meltdown. El Chiringuito today got a sniff of Hazard’s ‘decision’ quotes, and wasted no time claiming the winger was heading to Madrid in the near future. “Hazard has managed to withstand the Chelsea pressure,” the show’s presenter Josep Pedrerol said on Wednesday. “They offered him astronomical figures to renew him, but he’s refused. Hazard has chosen Real Madrid. “Finally, he gets to realise his dream. The Belgian is a different player, explosive, electric, a goalscorer. “He will bring leadership to a Madrid side with a lot of youth. “After Vinicius [Junior], Brahim [Diaz] or Rodrigo, there’s a lack of someone with experience. Hazard is someone who knows how to take a team on his shoulders. “The time of Hazard has arrived, the time of Real Madrid’s rejuvenation has arrived.” Hazard has repeatedly flirted with the idea of moving to the Bernabeu, revealing recently it would be a ‘dream’ to play for Los Blancos. The 28-year-old spoke out after the World Cup, hinting he would join Belgian team-mate Thibaut Courtois by moving to the Spanish giants. But Hazard has since came out and spoken of his happiness at Chelsea. The player is likely to announce his decision at the end of the season.
